Design Engineer

Job Description:

Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for innovation in the agricultural sector? Do you excel in designing and improving products while optimizing manufacturing processes? Join Dutch Industries as a Design Engineer and contribute to the advancement of our products and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Research and Design:
    • Conduct research to identify opportunities for product enhancements in the agricultural machinery and equipment sector. This includes working tradeshows as a Dutch representative.
    • Create detailed product specifications, drawings, and prototypes.
    • Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing products.
    • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in agricultural manufacturing.
  2. Manufacturing Process Improvement:
    • Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
    • Collaborate closely with production departments to implement process enhancements.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes.
  3. Project Management:
    • Lead engineering projects related to product development and process improvement.
    • Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
    • Manage project budgets and resources effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, or related field).
  • 2-3 years’ experience in agricultural product design, manufacturing and process improvement.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on agricultural applications.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Must be able to travel internationally when required (minimal requirements)
