Job Description:
Are you an experienced engineer with a passion for innovation in the agricultural sector? Do you excel in designing and improving products while optimizing manufacturing processes? Join Dutch Industries as a Design Engineer and contribute to the advancement of our products and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Research and Design:
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for product enhancements in the agricultural machinery and equipment sector. This includes working tradeshows as a Dutch representative.
- Create detailed product specifications, drawings, and prototypes.
- Continuously enhance the performance, reliability, and efficiency of existing products.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in agricultural manufacturing.
- Manufacturing Process Improvement:
- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and increased efficiency.
- Collaborate closely with production departments to implement process enhancements.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of process changes.
- Project Management:
- Lead engineering projects related to product development and process improvement.
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
- Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Agricultural, or related field).
- 2-3 years’ experience in agricultural product design, manufacturing and process improvement.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and Microsoft Office products.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on agricultural applications.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Must be able to travel internationally when required (minimal requirements)
