Intercropping in an age-old method that has been implemented in cultivation for years. Researchers at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) have been evaluating the intercropping system with chickpeas, and so far, the results have been encouraging. With the promise of intercropping to potentially reduce crop risk, continued research and evaluation is important to understand the value in understanding the ratios of different crops.
